Clearing the landfill

The current use of the plot is a recycle plant. The recycleplant is overvfilled with municipal solid waste (MSW). During the constructing and operating phases the landfill will be cleared in stages

Collection Platform

Fresh (MSW) will be brought to the facility by the municipality. On arrival collected waste will be weighted and deposited at a central deposit point. Afterwards the waste will be dryed and possibily seaved before the next step.

Digester/ Water Treatment Plant / Power Generator

Organic waste is processed in the digester into electricity for the plant and digestate for the Incinerator. The installation also cleans all wastewater from the plant.

Separator and Storage Hall

Waste from the collection platform is put into a separation installation to filter recyclables from waste with a high caloric value (RDF). Separated waste can be stored if necessary

We sell recyclables such as metals to local companies who can reuse it in their company process.

Incinerator

Reference AVR (NL)

The incinerator is the core of the ‘Waste to Energy’ plant. RDF burns to generate electricity. The incinerator will be constructed to Dutch/EU standards.

Concrete Lego block factory

Construction waste can be crushed and blended with sand and cement to create concrete. This will subsequently be used to make concrete blocks (or other concrete objects that are demanded locally).

When the incinerator is up and running, fly ash can also be used in the concrete mix.

Offices

To foresee in enough workplace for all required employees a suitable office is constructed at the plant for during the operations.
